statewide Drive Thru Job Fair

A first of its kind drive thru job fair on July 15, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm

The pandemic has changed recruiting but the workforce system is still here to help connect talent to employment opportunities! As part of a statewide unified approach, a series of "Drive Thru Job Fairs" will be organized on July 15, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at numerous locations.

Locally, the drive thru job fair will be held:

July 15, 2020

12:00 - 4:00 pm

Waukesha County Expo

1000 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188

Job seekers can stay safely in their cars and collect job posting packets. All they need to do is roll down their window and the packet will be handed to them. Upon arriving, we simply ask that they follow the traffic flow and wait patiently while others are served.

The job fair is free and open to all employers seeking employees for current job openings. Employers will need to provide 400 one-page recruitment flyers. The one page document can be printed on one or both sides, 8.5x11ā€ or a smaller size; however, only one page per company!

Here are some suggestions on what to include in your flyers:

  • Company name, location and logo

  • Available position(s)Ā

  • How to applyĀ

  • Details about company benefits and/or wagesĀ

  • What makes your company special? What is the service or product you provide?Ā

  • Include your Equal Opportunity statementĀ

  • Contact information if a job seeker would like to reach out to your company (email, phone or both)Ā

Interested employers and job seekers are asked to register in advance at: www.forwardcareers.org/events

Ā

The job fair is provided in partnership with the WOW American Job Centers and WOW Workforce Development Board.
