On September 30, Carroll University featured speakers from Forward Careers and two American Job Center Partners: Department of Workforce Development - Job Service and Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards.
Students from Carroll's Design, Delivery & Development of Supplemental Education programs had questions around developing new workforce development programs, how to collaborate, measurement of results, and future planning.
"It was a pleasure speaking to students about the workforce development system and the important work we do to strengthen our economy. Based on the questions we received, I think we blew them away and made careers in the workforce development arena more appealing to them," said Cindy Simons, President & CEO of Forward Careers.
