Community resources will be available to assist with education, skills training, and supportive services. Register at event to take advantage of this great opportunity!

  • Dress to Impress: This is an important one, you've got to dress to impress! Torn jeans and a tee shirt are not gonna cut it when meeting your future employer! Dress in a way that will leave others with a favorable opinion of you.

  • Have an Elevator Pitch: An elevator pitch or speech is a way to share your expertise and credentials quickly and effectively with people who don't know you. Done right, this short speech helps you introduce yourself to career and business connections in a compelling way. It can help you build your network, land a job, or connect with new colleagues on your first day of work.

  • Bring Copies of Your Resume: Many employers will take a hard copy printed resume at job fairs, so make sure to bring a few to distribute to a recruiter. If you need assistance developing, updating, and printing your resume, visit your local job center.
