For National Apprenticeship Week 2020 (#NAW2020), Forward Careers invites business leaders to an information session that will showcase the Direct Support Professional Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Direct support professional job titles vary and include in-home support worker, personal assistant, home health aide, among others. No matter the title, the field currently is facing a critical and alarming shortage of workers.
Our session will cover the benefits of using a registered apprenticeship model, training curriculum, and how to get started. Speakers include Laura Martin, President/CEO at Creative Solutions of Wisconsin, and Nanette A. Negri, Ph.D, at Autism Resources Network.
