Identifying Job Opportunities

During this session, Jeff Hopton will provide guidelines on how to identify job opportunities and how to adapt resumes for positions and industries.

Jeff Hopton is a Career Planner with Forward Careers. During his 3+ years with the organization, he has counseled hundreds of individuals and connected them to job training opportunities made available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Prior to that, he was a case manager under the Workforce Investment Act and other targeted programs all geared to upskilling individuals in their careers and move into better-paying jobs. Jeff has Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
